Who we are
MyAgenix (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at trymyagenix.com and the MyAgenix app, currently as a sole trader. You can contact us at myagenix@outlook.com.
What MyAgenix is — and isn’t
MyAgenix helps you choose cosmetic skincare products by matching your stated goals and preferences to well-studied cosmetic ingredients, and suggesting products that may suit you. Our guidance is informational and cosmetic in nature. It is not medical, dermatological or health advice; it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition; and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional. Individual results vary.
Eligibility
MyAgenix is intended for adults aged 18 and over. By using it, you confirm you are at least 18.
Using the guidance responsibly
You make your own decisions about which products to buy and use. Before using any new product, read its label, follow the manufacturer’s instructions, patch-test where recommended, and stop use and seek advice if you experience a reaction. You are responsible for telling us about allergies or sensitivities so our guidance can take them into account, and for checking product ingredients yourself if you have known allergies.
Product links and retailers
MyAgenix may link to products sold by third-party retailers. Some are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you — this never influences which products we recommend. See our Affiliate Disclosure. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and the retailer; we are not the seller and are not responsible for their products, prices, availability or websites.
Your account
A consultation needs an account, so you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You can delete your photos at any time — closing your account removes them immediately, or email us and we’ll remove them for you — see our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use and intellectual property
Please use MyAgenix only for its intended purpose and lawfully — do not misuse the service, disrupt it, or attempt unauthorised access. The MyAgenix name, content, design and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law; you may use the service for your personal, non-commercial use only.
Disclaimers and liability
MyAgenix is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work hard to make our guidance accurate and evidence-led, we do not guarantee that any product will produce a particular result for you. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from your own misuse of a product.
Changes and governing law
We may update the service and these terms from time to time; we’ll post the updated terms here with a new “last updated” date, and continuing to use MyAgenix means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
